Timeline

What will the build’s timeline look like?

How long will it take? When will we reach certain milestones? Check out the handy timeline below!

Phase 1

In the first phase is we begin by completing selection and submitting floor plans for review.

Phase 2

During the second phase we complete permits and check all the boxes to get started on construction.

Phase 3

In the final phase we receive local building permits and begin construction on your future dream home!

Phase 1

Month 0 through Month 2.5 of the Build

+/-  30 days for Owners/Builder to complete selections

+/-  2 weeks for the home designer to complete the floor plans and submit them to the structural engineer

+/-  30 days for the structural engineer and home designer to have the plans completed

PHASE 2

From Month 2.5 through Month 5 of the Build

+/-   2 weeks after receiving engineered plans to have permit application ready to submit

+/-   30 days after receiving engineered plans for Design or Architectural Review Committee (if applicable)

+/-  30 days for local building department to review permit application

PHASE 3

From Month 5 through Month 10

+/-   45 days – Site prep, Excavation, Footings, Foundation, Laterals

+/-   45 days – Framing, Rough Electrical, Rough Plumbing, Rough Heat, Windows, Ext. Doors, Roof

+/-   45 days – Exterior Finishes, Insulation, Drywall, Finish Work, Cabinets, Flooring, Finishes

+/-   15 days – Final inspections, Walk-Through, Punch-List Items
