The public school of education in Orem is very highly ranked for quality and quantity in all grades. There are overall, 23 public schools.  Currently 16 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and 4 high schools. Each are included in the Alpine School District. The Alpine School district is the largest district in the state. It is currently ranked number 7. As a result the district spends $5,048 per year per student.
