Orem Utah is located south of Lehi and north of Provo. It was originally established in the year of 1919. The population of Orem as of 2016 was 97,499, making it the fifth-largest city in Utah and a great place to build your new home.

Because of the size many local attractions are available, such as Utah Valley University and the Orem Owlz. The city uses the slogan “Family City USA.”  In 2010, it was named the 5th best place in the USA to raise a family. (Forbes Magazine).  The City also, maintains 35.8 miles of bike lines, 22 city parks, and 4,316 businesses licensed.

ALPINE SCHOOL DISTRICT

The public school of education in Orem is very highly ranked for quality and quantity in all grades. There are overall, 23 public schools.  Currently 16 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and 4 high schools. Each are included in the Alpine School District. The Alpine School district is the largest district in the state. It is currently ranked number 7. As a result the district spends $5,048 per year per student.

There are also 2 higher-education schools, Utah Valley University and Stevens-Henager College.
