Lindon Utah is located on the east side of Utah Lake. The town was originally named, “String Town” because of the way the houses were strung up and down the streets between Pleasant Grove and Orem. Later, there was an old Linden tree found in the center of town, which inspired the present name.
As the city continues to be a popular place for families, it continues to grow in numbers. In 2016, the population was 10,939. However, the city holds to it’s motto: “Lindon: a little bit of country”. The median income is $86,495 with an average age of 26.
