Kearns Utah is a township west of Salt Lake City. It was originally settled as an army base for the U.S. Army Air Forces. Today the only buildings still standing from that time is the South Valley Regional Airport and the Airfield. After the base was gone, it was so attractive to builders and developers that they took over the land and started building what we know today. Because of its versatility in land it has everything you can imagine within the city.
The city is home to the 2002 Olympic Oval, where families can enjoy activities of swimming, ice skating and more. The population of Kearns in 2016 was 35,371. It is continuing to grow and become a popular place for all families and individuals.
