Fairfield Utah is a small town located in the southwest corner of Cedar Valley or the west side of Utah Lake. In 2016, the population was 136 individuals. The town was established in 1855 by a man named John Carson and his four brothers settled the Cedar Valley.
Nearby a camp named Campy Floyd was established and the population grew to over 7,000. The troops were later recalled to fight at the Civil War. The Stagecoach Inn was a popular place located in Fairfield by travelers passing through the town via military personal, Pony Express and stage coach. The Inn now is a museum, with a rich history.
